Kuchar to Tee It Up at Barclays

After taking several weeks off from PGA Tour play, Matt Kuchar will tee off next at The Barclays in Paramus, N.J., Aug. 21. The tournament is the first of the four-tournament FedEx Cup Playoffs and will be held at Ridgewood Country Club. Kuchar will compete for a winner’s share of the tournament’s $7 million purse.
Kuchar has played in 22 events during the 2008 season and has carded four Top-10 finishes, including a T3 finish at the Mayakoba Golf Classic at Riviera Maya-Cancun in February. Kuchar has earned $994,488 so far this season and as of Aug. 8, Kuchar ranked 78th in the PGA Tour’s Fed Ex Cup Standings with 4,084 points.
