The 50th Annual Bob Hope Chryster Classic hosted by Arnold Palmer is one of the PGA Tour's most unique events. During the five-round event, PGA Tour professionals are paired with a team of amateur players for the first four days of the tournament, then play a fifth and final round on Sunday after a cut.
Kuchar made the cut tied for 68th, then jumped up the leaderboard to T25 on Sunday after shooting a final-round 64.
For the finish, Kuchar earned $36,493 and debuted in 71st place on the PGA Tour's FedEx Cup standings.
Originally, Kuchar had planned on taking a week off before playing in the Buick Invitational in San Diego, Calif., Feb. 5-8. He has now decided to travel to Scottsdale, Ariz. and will enter the field at this week's FBR Open. Tee times will be posted on PGATour.com Tuesday afternoon.
