Kuchar Ties for 6th at FBR Open

Matt Kuchar secured his first top-10 finish of the 2008 season with a T6 finish at the FBR Open in Scottsdale, Ariz. He shot 11-under par 273, continuing his strong play from tee to green.
Kuchar carded an opening-round 4-under par 67 and finished the tournament with rounds of 67, 70 and 69. For the finish, he earned $194, 250, moving him up to 113th on the PGA Tour’s official Money List. The finish also catapulted Kuchar to 24th in the PGA Tour’s FedEx Cup Standings, up from last week’s 71st place ranking.
Kuchar is scheduled take a week off before teeing off at the AT&T Pebble Beach National Pro-Am in Pebble Beach, Calif., Feb. 12-15.
