Kuchar Finishes Tied for 48th at Verizon Heritage

Matt Kuchar returned to the PGA Tour after nearly a month of rest and shot even-par 284 (71-70-73-70) at the Verizon Heritage, finishing tied for 48th.
Kuchar earned $14,036.25 for the finish, as well as 19.5 FexEd Cup points, moving him to 53rd in the PGA Tour's FedEx Cup Standings in 2009. So far in '09, Kuchar as taken home $482,305 in earnings.
His next stop on the Tour is New Orleans this week for the Zurich Classic of New Orleans. Kuchar missed the cut at last year's Zurich Classic, but finished tied for 10th in 2004.
