Kuchar qualifies for the British Open

Matt Kuchar has earned a fifth visit to The Open Championship after posting a 13 under-par total of 129 to finish atop the leaderboard at the International Final Qualifying at the Queens Course at Gleneagles Country Club in West Plano, Texas. Seven other players have also secured their places at the 138th Open Championship at Turnberry this July. Kuchar fired rounds of 63-65 for a two shot victory over Jeff Overton.
Kuchar now heads down the road to Ft. Worth, Texas for the Crowne Plaza Invitational at Colonial. He is paired with J.J. Henry and Jeff Quinney. The trio will tee off at 7:53 am off the 10th tee on Thursday and then again at 12:23 pm off the 1st tee on Friday. Check back throughout the week for updates.
