Kuchar Misses Cut at British Open

Matt Kuchar missed only his fifth cut of the season at the British Open in South Ayrshine U.K. over the weekend. Kuchar shot 6-over par 146 (70-76) through the first two rounds under windy conditions at the Turnberry Resort.
The British Open was Kuchar’s first missed cut since the U.S. Open.
Kuchar has played in 17 events in 2009, earning $925,143, including six top-25 finishes and a tie for fifth at the Memorial in early June. He currently sits in 60th in the FedEx Cup standings with 533 points.
Kuchar is scheduled to appear next at the Legends Reno-Tahoe Open in Reno, NV August 6-9.
