Entering the final major championship of the year, Matt Kuchar looks to continue his solid play this week at the PGA Championship at Hazeltine National Golf Club in Chaska MN. Kuchar has made the cut in five of his last six tournaments, including a fifth place showing at the Memorial in early June.
This week will mark the second appearance at the PGA Championship for Kuchar, with his previous start also being at Hazeltine in 2002. That tournament was won by Rich Beem.
Kuchar, who has made the cut in 13 of 18 events in 2009 and has six Top 25 finishes, ranks 72nd on the PGA Tour Money List with $945,993. Kuchar also remains in the hunt for the FedEx Cup, currently sitting in 67th place.
At the PGA Championship, Kuchar will be paired with Louis Oosthuizen and Kevin Roman. The trio will tee off from the 10th tee at 9:15 am CDT on Thursday and from the 1st tee at 2:25 pm CDT on Friday.
