Kuchar to Tee It Up at The Barclays

After taking a few weeks off from PGA Tour play, Matt Kuchar will tee it up again this week at The Barclays in Jersey City, NJ. The tournament is the first of the four-tournament FedEx Cup Playoffs and will be held at Liberty National Country Club. Kuchar will compete for a share of the tournament’s $7.5 million purse.
Kuchar has played in 19 events during the 2009 season and has carded two Top-10 finishes, including a T5 finish at the Memorial in June. Kuchar has earned $945,993 so far this season and as of Aug. 26, Kuchar ranked 77th in the PGA Tour’s Fed Ex Cup Standings with 533 points.
At the Barclays, Kuchar will tee off at 1:33 pm EDT off the first tee on Thursday with Marc Leishman and Greg Chalmers. The group will start off the 10th tee at 8:43 am EDT on Friday.
