FedEx Cup Playoff Run Ends at BMW Championship

Matt Kuchar shot a 4-under par 280 (71-68-66-75) en route to a tie for 10th place at the BMW Championship at Cog Hill Golf & Country Club in Lemont, IL. The event was the third of four tournaments that comprise the FedEx Cup Playoffs. Kuchar had 19 birdies in total, including seven birdies in the third round.
Kuchar earned $172,500 for the tournament, along with 327 FedEx Cup points, moving him to 40th position. However, Kuchar fell short of making the top 30, thus eliminating his chances of playing in the season ending Tour Championship and a shot at the FedEx Cup.
Kuchar will take a few weeks off before returing to action at the Turning Stone Resort Championship, October 1-4 in Verona, NY.
